LOS ANGELES, Calif. /Publishers Newswire/ — Golosio Publishing announces the availability of songwriters and composers in a wide variety of genres, including country and electronica with the goal of serving the audio needs of advertising agencies and production companies. From roots and Americana to rock, electronica and hip hop, L.A.’s Golosio Publishing has a group of music composers who can make music with any kind of beat and any kind of melody.
Keyboardist Doug Colosio and fiddler/guitarist Scott Joss, both of Merle Haggard’s band, team up to create country songs, Texas swing, Americana/roots music, and Cajun tunes, while producer John Scott G (The G-Man) creates electronica in many styles.
Other songwriters working with Golosio include Barry Cohen (new classic rock), James Sotelo (rock), Mel J (hip hop), and DJ Insane (trance), as well as country writers Greg Colosio, Dave Churchill, Dennis Barney, Jim Dyer, and Wayne Dean.
Late last year, the female band Double Vision covered the Golosio song “Dream of You and Smile” and notched more than 70,000 downloads in Australia. In November, the duo won a TEMA (Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards) in the category of Best International Country Song for “Dream of You and Smile.”
Altogether, more than 40 Golosio songs have appeared in music videos available on YouTube, Veoh, and FookMovie.com.
“You have heard our music in commercials for Verizon Wireless, Goodyear, the Auto Club, Micron, General Dynamics, and many others,” G points out, “and we look forward to scoring more commercials and eventually games, television programs and motion pictures.”
Golosio is affiliated with the three major performing rights organizations in the United States. The three companies are Golosio Publishing (BMI), Audio Masterworks (ASCAP) and Golosio Audio Masterworks (SESAC).
