EUREKA, Mont. /Publishers Newswire/ — In his latest book titled, “Saving Eden” (ISBN 13: 978-0-9791293-9-1, EnDeavours Publishing), set in the Tobacco Valley, Montana author David C. Deavours shares a message of environmental awareness through a fictional story full of mystery, adventure, romance and tragedy. Deavours relocates his main character, Nate Stone, from his Southern Appalachian home and plunges him into the wilds of Montana’s Kootenai National Forest, where Nate suddenly finds himself enveloped in an unsolved murder mystery dating in the early 1800’s.

author David C. DeavoursThrough a collection of enjoyable characters and sequenced flashbacks in time, “Saving Eden” delivers “A story for mystery lovers and a message for everyone,” claims Deavours. “I wanted to get people to stop and think about their personal impact on our resources in an entertaining fashion. So I tried to create an interesting scenario and colorful characters to convey my message,” says Deavours.

“Folks don’t like to be told that they are negatively impacting the planet, which made me believe that sharing these thoughts through an entertaining story makes the information more palatable,” Deavours added.

“Saving Eden” (ISBN: 978-0-9791293-9-1) sells for $14.95 and is available on-line at endeavourspublishing.com and several other Web based bookstores including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Books-A-Million.

Deavours says his next publishing project, coincidentally titled, “My Walk with Eden,” is a compilation of short stories about the triumphs and trials of the early years of motherhood from author Christie Elkins. Told from a new mother’s perspective, “My Walk with Eden” is an honest look into the heart and mind of a mother on a journey to raise her first child while following a path of righteousness in a secular world, “And the lessons that God is teaching them both along the way,” says Elkins.
